Explore the wax carving technique to make a silver ring or pendant
Perfect for those with little or no prior jewellery making experience, this fun and relaxing workshop takes you step-by-step through the basics of wax carving to allow you bring your dream silver ring or pendant design to life.
You'll learn more about how the lost wax casting process works and explore techniques for carving ring or pendant designs, creating textures and adding granulation using a range of simple, easy-to-use hand tools. You can come with a design idea in mind or get some inspo from pieces that previous participants have made over on my Pinterest board.

By the end of the session you will have created a wax master which I’ll send away to London’s famous Hatton Garden jewellery district for casting in silver. I will then hand finish your piece according to your specifications and post it back to you in a beautiful Fairtrade cotton jewellery pouch within 3-4 weeks.

You can also have your piece gold plated for a small extra charge

We had a fantastic time at Elin's ring making workshop! Elin's guidance was exceptional, leading us through each step and offering ideas and tips along the way. It was a really nice environment, and despite our lack of prior experience, Elin made the process feel effortless. I wholeheartedly recommend Elin's workshop to anyone looking for a memorable experience!!

My wife and I got given a voucher for Elin's wax jewelry workshop when we got married. IT WAS AWESOME!!! Elin has that magical balance between helping you get something while be very relaxed and supportive. I had a bit of a wacky idea and Elin got right behind it. I felt I got really close to what I had designed.
Would highly recommend if you're looking for something fun to do one evening.

Had a wonderful experience in the ring making workshop! Elin was a lovely host and was always on hand for any questions/tips you might need.
Felt really good to be able to lean into my creative side while also experiencing something I've never done before.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys being creative and/or loves the idea of custom jewellery!
